This page explains how payment works when you order from Ronora Diamond. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you place the order rather than after.
Payment methods we accept
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- PayPal
Debit cards carrying the Visa or Mastercard logo are accepted in the same way as credit cards. The payment options shown at checkout are the definitive list for your country, so if something here is not offered to you, that is why.
Currency and pricing
All prices on this site are shown and charged in US dollars (USD). If your card or bank account is held in another currency, your bank converts the amount at their own rate and may add a foreign transaction fee. That fee is set by your bank, not by Ronora, and we have no visibility of it.
Prices shown include the piece as specified: the centre stone, the side stones, the metal and the setting you select. They do not include import duties or local taxes in your country, except on orders above USD 1,999, where Ronora Diamond pays them.
How checkout is secured
Checkout runs on Shopify's payment infrastructure over an encrypted connection. Your card details are entered directly into that system and are never stored on Ronora's servers or seen by our team. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the details needed to make and ship your order. We do not receive your full card number.
When payment is taken
Every Ronora piece is made to order. Payment is taken in full at checkout, and production begins once the payment clears. We do not hold stock, so the payment is what releases the stone and the metal for your specific piece.
For a bespoke commission, a piece outside our published range or an unusually large centre stone, we may quote separately and confirm the terms with you in writing before any payment is taken.
Order confirmation
You will receive an order confirmation by email as soon as payment is accepted. If you do not receive one within a few minutes, check your spam folder first, then contact us. Do not place the order a second time. A missing confirmation email does not mean the payment failed, and reordering may result in two pieces being made.
Failed and declined payments
If a payment is declined, no order is created and nothing is charged. Declines are almost always issued by your own bank rather than by us, commonly because of an international transaction block, a daily limit, or a mismatch between the billing address entered and the one your bank holds. Your bank can usually clear it in a short phone call.
You may see a pending authorisation on your statement for a declined attempt. That is a hold, not a charge, and your bank releases it automatically, usually within a few working days.
Duties, taxes and customs
Orders ship internationally from India. When your order is above USD 1,999 (product total after any discount), Ronora Diamond pays the customs duties and import taxes in your country. Below that, customs and import duties are paid by the customer: any import duty, VAT, GST or customs handling fee charged when the parcel arrives is payable to the carrier or customs authority, not to Ronora. For other orders, these charges vary by country and by the declared value of the parcel, and we cannot calculate or absorb them on your behalf.
Refunds
Where a refund is due under our return and exchange policy, it is issued to the original payment method. Refunds cannot be redirected to a different card or account. Your bank decides how quickly the credit appears, which is typically a few working days but can take longer for international cards. Currency conversion differences between the date of purchase and the date of refund are set by your bank and are outside our control.
Pricing errors
If a price is listed incorrectly because of a technical fault or human error, we will contact you before making the piece. You can confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund. We will never charge more than the amount you approved.
Questions
If you would rather speak to someone before paying, message us on WhatsApp or use our contact page. For a high value order we are happy to talk you through the process first.
