Lab Grown Diamond Pendants

A pendant is the part that hangs; the necklace is the pendant and its chain together. Because a pendant sits flat against the chest and is viewed straight on, the setting matters less than in a ring and the stone's outline matters more. Every Ronora pendant is set with real CVD lab grown diamonds, VVS-VS clarity, D-E-F colorless, made to order in solid gold or platinum.

What chain length should you choose?

16 inches sits at the collarbone, 18 inches just below it, and 20 inches at the top of the neckline. 18 inches is the most common and layers well with a shorter chain.

Which setting suits a pendant best?

Bezel settings are the most practical, because a pendant knocks against clothing all day and a bezel has no prongs to catch on knitwear. Prong settings show more of the stone and return more light.

Frequently asked questions

Will the pendant spin on the chain? Not if the bail is sized correctly for the chain. A bail that is too wide lets the pendant rotate and sit sideways.

Can I wear it every day? Yes. Take it off for swimming and showering, since chlorine and soap build-up dull the stone faster than anything else.

Everyday, Not Occasional

A pendant is the piece that never comes off. These are built light enough to sleep in and secure enough to forget about.

The Chain Matters As Much

A beautiful pendant on a weak chain is a loss waiting to happen. Every chain here is solid gold, matched in weight to the pendant it carries.

Same Stones As The Rings

VVS-VS clarity, D-E-F colour. We do not keep a lesser grade of diamond for smaller pieces.

What carat weight is right for a diamond pendant?

Between 0.5ct and 2ct suits most people for daily wear. Smaller reads as delicate and everyday, while anything above 2ct starts to sit as an occasion piece.

What chain length should I choose?

Most of our pendants sit best on an 16 to 18 inch chain, which falls just at or below the collarbone. Longer chains suit larger pendants and open necklines.

Are these pendants solid gold?

Yes, pendant and chain both. You can choose 9K, 14K or 18K solid gold or platinum, in white, yellow or rose.

Can I wear a diamond pendant every day?

Yes. Bezel and prong-set designs here are made for constant wear, and lab grown diamond is exactly as hard as mined diamond, so daily use does not wear the stone.

What clarity and colour are the diamonds?

VVS-VS clarity in the D-E-F colourless range, the same standard we hold across every Ronora piece.

How long does a pendant take to make?

10 days to make, then 10 to 15 days to deliver. Each one is made to order once you have chosen metal, colour and carat.
