RINGS MADE TO ORDER
The heart cut is a modified brilliant with a cleft at the top and a point at the base. It is the hardest common shape to cut well, because the two lobes must be perfectly symmetrical or the whole stone looks wrong, and symmetry is the first thing the eye judges. Every Ronora heart is a real CVD lab grown diamond, VVS clarity, D-E-F colorless.
Symmetry above everything. Draw a line down the centre: both lobes should be the same width and height, the cleft should be sharp and centred, and the point should sit directly below it. Even a small imbalance is obvious once seen and cannot be unseen.
Below about 0.75 carat the shape becomes hard to read on the finger, and a heart that is not recognisably a heart loses its whole point. Most buyers choose 1 carat or above.
Which setting suits a heart? A five-prong setting with a V-prong protecting the point. The point is the most chip-prone part of the stone.
Which way should it face? Point down toward the hand is the traditional orientation, though either is worn.
A heart lives on its symmetry: two identical halves, one clean cleft. Only stones that pass that mirror test make it into our settings.
Choosing the romantic shape should not feel risky. IGI certification, free resizing, and returns make the boldest cut the safest purchase.
Heart cuts are scarce in stores and priced like it. Direct from our studio, the rarest shape follows the same honest math as every other.
The shape demands perfect symmetry and wastes more rough diamond than any common cut, so few cutters attempt it. Ours come from Surat, where the world's best cutting happens.
1 carat and above shows the outline clearly. Below that, the heart shape can blur at a distance, so we guide sizing honestly.
Not for the right person. If her love language is loud, this is the shape that speaks it.
The cleft and point both get dedicated prongs placed by hand, keeping the outline crisp and the stone secure.
Yes, a tilted or east-west heart reads modern and unexpected. Made to order means we set it your way.
Eligible heart center stones include IGI certification confirming cut, color, clarity, and carat.
