Yes. A CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) diamond is a real diamond in every scientific and gemological sense. It is chemically, physically, and optically identical to a mined diamond. The only difference is origin — CVD diamonds grow in a controlled laboratory environment rather than underground.

Are lab grown diamonds as good as real diamonds?

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, graded by the same international standards as mined stones. Ronora uses VVS clarity, D-E-F colorless CVD lab-grown diamonds exclusively — the top tier of both grading scales. They have the same hardness, brilliance, and durability as mined diamonds.

Does my ring come with IGI certification?

IGI certification is included for rings with a center stone of 1.0 carat or above. Rings with smaller center stones meet the same VVS clarity and D-E-F colorless standards but do not include individual stone certificates. All diamonds are independently selected to these specifications.

Can you shower with a lab-grown diamond ring?

It is safe but not recommended as a daily habit. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner leave a film on the diamond that dulls its sparkle over time. If you shower with your ring regularly, clean it weekly with warm water and mild dish soap to maintain full brilliance.

Can lab grown diamonds be worn every day?

Yes. Diamond scores 10 on the Mohs hardness scale — the hardest natural substance — and is designed for everyday wear. Lab-grown diamonds are physically identical to mined diamonds and will not scratch or lose brilliance with daily use.
