Rings under $500 at Ronora are real solid gold pieces, not plated. The price comes from stone size and setting complexity rather than from cheaper materials, which is the main thing that separates this range from costume jewelry at a similar price. This collection includes both lab grown diamond and moissanite rings, and each product page states which stone it is set with.
Three reasons. The stones are smaller, typically under a carat. The settings are simpler, so less hand-setting time. And lab grown diamonds cost 60 to 80 percent less than mined stones of the same grade. Nothing is compromised on metal: every ring is 9K, 14K or 18K solid gold or platinum.
A promise ring, a stacking band, a slim solitaire or a pair of studs. Not a 2 carat engagement ring. If a site offers you one at this price, the stone is a simulant or the metal is plated.
Is the gold solid or plated? Solid, always. Ronora does not sell plated jewelry at any price.
Do these come certified? IGI certification applies to diamonds of 1 carat or more, which is above most of this range.
