RINGS MADE TO ORDER
This collection gathers every Ronora piece set with cushion cut stones, across rings, bands and pendants. The cushion is a square or rectangular stone with rounded corners and curved sides, descended directly from the old mine cut that dominated Victorian jewelry. Ronora lab grown diamonds are real CVD stones, VVS-VS clarity, D-E-F colorless; one piece here is set with moissanite, stated on its product page.
Larger facets. Where a round brilliant scatters light into many small points, a cushion returns fewer but broader flashes, which the eye reads as warmth and fire rather than brightness. It is the closest modern shape to how diamonds looked before electric light.
These are the two cushion styles and they look genuinely different. Crushed ice has dense small faceting and a shimmering texture. Chunky, sometimes called antique cushion, has fewer large facets and bolder flashes. Decide which you prefer before choosing a stone, not after.
Is a cushion durable? Among the most durable shapes. Rounded corners mean no sharp points to chip.
Does it suit a halo? Particularly well. A halo follows the soft cushion outline closely and amplifies the antique character.
