Five carats is the top of the Ronora range and the point where a ring becomes a commission in everything but name. Every stone here is a real lab grown diamond with VVS-VS clarity. Colorless stones are D-E-F, fancy colored stones are named by their colour, and every lab grown diamond of 1 carat or more comes with its own IGI report.
Every ring in this collection can be ordered with a 5 carat centre stone, in 9K, 14K or 18K gold, platinum or 925 silver. The shapes are oval, round, marquise, Dutch Marquise, radiant, emerald cut and pear, in settings that run from a round pave solitaire with tulip prongs to an oval bridal set with two bands. Fancy yellow, brown and green centre stones are here too.
A 5 carat round is around 11mm wide, which spans most of an average finger and is immediately read as a large stone from across a room. At this scale the ring is jewelry first and a ring second, and it is worn accordingly.
Because a 5 carat round concentrates enormous mass into a circle, which can look disproportionate on a slim hand. Elongated cuts such as radiant, oval and emerald distribute the same weight along the finger, reading as impressive rather than simply big.
