Every Ronora ring with a centre stone of 1 carat or above ships with an IGI certificate. The International Gemological Institute grades the stone independently of the seller and issues a report covering carat, cut, clarity and colour, plus a laser inscription on the girdle matching the stone to its report number. Every stone in this collection is a real CVD lab grown diamond, VVS clarity, D-E-F colorless.

What does an IGI certificate actually prove?

That an independent laboratory, not the retailer, measured and graded the stone. It confirms the diamond is lab grown rather than mined, states its exact carat, cut, clarity and colour, and ties those findings to a specific physical stone through the girdle inscription. It is the difference between a claim and a verified fact.

Why only from 1 carat?

Because certification costs roughly the same regardless of stone size, so below 1 carat it becomes a large proportion of the price for little practical benefit. Ronora can arrange certification on smaller stones on request.
