Bezel Rings | Lab Grown Diamond | VVS CVD

A bezel setting wraps a thin rim of metal around the entire edge of the stone instead of holding it with prongs. It is the most secure setting there is, and the only one with nothing raised to catch on clothing. Ronora lab grown diamonds are real CVD stones, VVS clarity, D-E-F colorless; two rings here are set with moissanite, stated on their product pages.

Does a bezel make the diamond look smaller?

Slightly, because the rim covers the outer edge of the stone. A full bezel can cost a fraction of a millimetre of visible diameter. A half bezel, which holds the stone on two sides only, keeps more of it visible while retaining most of the security.

Who should choose a bezel setting?

Anyone who works with their hands, wears gloves, plays sport, or works in healthcare. It is also the safest setting for a softer stone or for anyone who has already lost a prong-set stone once.

Frequently asked questions

Does a bezel reduce sparkle? A little. Prongs let light in from the sides; a bezel does not. The trade is brilliance for security, and at smaller carat weights the difference is barely visible.

Can a bezel ring be resized? Yes, as easily as any plain-shank ring. The setting itself is unaffected.

Wrapped, Not Clamped

Wrapped, Not Clamped

A bezel is a continuous wall of metal burnished around the stone by hand. Done right, it flows like it was poured. Done wrong, it looks like plumbing. Ours flow.

The Bodyguard Setting

The Bodyguard Setting

No prongs to catch, snag, or loosen. The bezel is what jewelers recommend to nurses, climbers, and parents of toddlers, and every stone still carries its IGI paper.

Modern By Default

Modern By Default

The bezel's clean circle reads contemporary without trying. Minimal metal, maximum security, and lab grown pricing underneath it all.

Is a bezel setting really more secure than prongs?

Yes, it is the most secure setting made. The metal wall surrounds the stone completely, so there are no prong tips to wear down or catch.

Does a bezel hide too much of the diamond?

It covers only the outer rim. A well-made bezel actually frames the stone and can make it appear slightly larger, like a border on a photograph.

Who should choose a bezel ring?

Anyone whose hands work: medical professionals, athletes, makers, parents. Also anyone who simply loves the sleek modern look.

Does a bezel reduce the sparkle?

Light enters a diamond from the top, which stays fully open. The sparkle difference against prongs is smaller than the internet claims.

Can any diamond shape be bezel set?

Round is the classic, and oval, emerald, and pear bezels look strikingly modern. Made to order means your shape gets its collar.

Is the stone still IGI certified inside a bezel?

Certification happens before setting, so yes, eligible stones carry their full IGI documentation regardless of the setting style.
